Q: Are my donations tax-deductible?

A: Yes. UP!Postle Ministries is a non-profit corporation. All gifts and offerings received are tax deductible by law.

Q: Are you an open and affirming ministry?

A: Yes. We are a non-denominational ministry that is open to all people, regardless of their beliefs, affiliations, and lifestyles. We have partners all over the world that come from a vast variety of backgrounds, lifestyles, denominations, and doctrinal beliefs, and we welcome them all!

Q: Do you have a phone number?

A: No. As a Web-and-mail based ministry we do not have a publicly accessible phone number.

Q: Are you affiliated with any other ministries?

A: No. We are partners with many other ministries financially and in prayer, and our leadership and staff all have a system of accountability, but we are not affiliated with any church, denomination, or ministry.

Q: Can I print or distribute the materials found on this Web site?

A: Yes, private and non-profit duplication of written materials is allowed, but duplication for public distribution in a for-profit medium is strictly forbidden without prior, written consent of the UP!Postle Ministries Board of Directors. Duplication of written material for free distribution, however, is encouraged. Please feel free to pass any of this site's written material out to anyone as long as the distribution of those materials will be free. Any sale of UP!Postle Ministries material or for-profit distribution or duplication of UP!Postle Ministries material is forbidden. Q: Can I link to your page from my Web site?

A: Absolutely.

Q: What is your privacy policy?

A: We hate SPAM and junk mail just as much as you do, and we think selling peoples' information is not very Christ-like behavior. We do not sell, lease, rent, or distribute in any way our mailing lists, partner names, prayer requests, form results, or any other personal information. We respect the privacy and anonymity of every person that contacts us in any way, and we are committed to doing everything we can to protect that privacy.

Q: Who is Eric?

A: Eric K. Carr is the founder and president of UP!Postle Ministries. Although an ordained minister, Eric dropped all affiliation as an effort to eradicate denominational barriers in the ministry. He believes in BEING the church rather than having church, doing church, or belonging to a church, and believes in practicing a generous orthodoxy inclusive of all believers, even if he disagrees with some of the stuff they believe.

Eric is also many other things, has many other interests, and loves to think and write about many different topics. He believes that true ministry is not just a job, but is an all-pervasive condition of the heart no matter what one is doing at any given time.
